We Integrate with your team
We integrate into your organisation to become a true partner. We are on-site early and care genuinely about the outcomes of the projects which we work on.
The trust we build with our clients is why we have such strong relationships with those we work with.
We offer a flexible service
Our service is flexible. We scale up and down as our clients require. We are responsive and can react quickly to solve our client’s problems. Our process is to assess each project individually and provide the right level of service to meet each project’s requirements.
Our business has been designed to innovate. Our team structure, Blue Sky Projects framework, and focus on iterative learning means we are built to invent. This is how we improve our service and bring additional value to our clients to give them an edge.
Hazelwood Mine Rehabilitation Project
FSC has assisted with several environmental investigations, feasibility studies and design reports across the 4000 hectare Hazelwood Mine site. These include monitoring, maintaining and extending the mine stability bore network; project managing the mine dewatering bore installation program; and managing the capping design, construction methodology and tender process for four large landfills.
FSC worked closely with the EPA and the client to manage original contamination and capping foundation issues. Together we produced an alternative capping design that saved the client 35% of their initial project budget.
Metro Tunnel Early Works
FSC was responsible for managing the slurry from the project’s excavated fill and non-destructive digging, including the design, EPA approval, construction and operation of an on-site treatment facility.
Adding to the challenge, the treatment system had to operate without power or water. Thinking creatively, FSC harnessed the only force available – gravity – to develop a simple yet functional gravity powered design incorporating weirs, valves, filters and overflow elements.
The treatment system was up and running in under 12 months, and has already paid for itself three times over through reduced disposal and transport costs.
