West Gate Tunnel Project
The FSC team has held numerous key roles on the $6.8b West Gate Tunnel Project from the tender phase through to project delivery.
During the tender we were closely involved in design interface management and the constructability analysis for the project’s West Gate Freeway, Tunnel Portal and East Maribyrnong River sections. In the delivery phase we’ve taken on a variety of critical roles, including Early Works Manager, Temporary Works Design Manager, Buildings Design Manager and Design Interface Manager West Zone.
Western Roads Upgrade
FSC improved processes and provided oversight to accelerate road works, including planning major intersection shutdowns with the traffic team and Major Road Projects Victoria.
FSC also provided design management to overcome the risk of utilities clashes. Initiating a rapid utilities re-design process, the team set clear priorities to overcome clashes, while providing the support, resources and accountability needed to avoid construction delays.
