The Role
As Energy Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role building on and growing our presence in the transmission, storage, and generation markets. You'll focus on business development, leveraging your network to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and grow a strong pipeline of work. While technical skills are valued, this role is about leadership, strategy, and connection.
You'll have the freedom to shape the team, bringing in the right technical experts as we grow. Your ability to navigate the energy sector and connect with key players will be critical to our success.
What You'll Do
- Lead business development in the energy market – transmission, storage, generation
- Build relationships with developers, network operators, government, consultants and contractors
- Identify new opportunities and develop strategic partnerships
- Grow and lead a high-performing technical team
- Collaborate with our existing infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Represent the company at industry events and within key networks
About You
- Proven business development experience in the energy sector
- Strong network within transmission, developers, storage, and generation
- Electrical engineering background preferred but not essential
- Natural leader with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Skilled at building teams and creating new service offerings
