Williamstown and Altona Seawall and Revetments
The heritage walls of Williamstown and Altona comprise masonry and rock. FSC conducted a full-scale condition assessment of the structures (to DELWP standards), an assessment of the remaining life expectancy of the structures and an assessment of sea level rise impacts and design services for the upgrade and life extension of the walls. To define the future loading on the assets, as well as the likely changes to the local coastal processes, we undertook a coastal processes assessment at both locations using a combination of existing data and numerical modelling.
