Over recent months, FSC has attended and supported several key industry conferences focused on data centres, cloud infrastructure and the energy transition.
Across the Data Centre Leaders Summit in Sydney, the Melbourne Cloud & Datacenter Convention, and the Clean Energy Investor Conference, conversations consistently pointed to one thing: the rapid convergence of data centres, energy and major infrastructure.
Industry discussions highlighted the growing importance of data centres to Australia’s digital economy, alongside the challenges that come with that growth, including energy demand, planning and approvals, workforce capability and supporting infrastructure.
There was a strong focus on the role data centres can play in supporting grid stability and energy flexibility as the sector continues to evolve.
For FSC, these events reinforced the importance of staying closely connected to the industries shaping Australia’s future infrastructure landscape, and ensuring our clients receive advice that reflects where the market is heading - not where it was six months ago.
