Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Upgrades Bulleen Interchange
As part of the overall Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Upgrades, the scope at Bulleen Interchange included hardstand construction, super T bridge structures, steel flyovers, construction of pedestrian bridges and underpasses, utility relocations and development of shared user paths to support walking and cycling. Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) will be integrated to improve traffic management, while noise walls and floodwalls will be installed to protect surrounding areas.
Services Provided
- Development of construction methodology, program, and cost estimates for 3 flyovers, 2 underpasses, 1 pedestrian bridge, road bridge widening, and road bridge strengthening
- Design management to take designs from TAN stage to IFC for the above-mentioned structures
- Management of program and costs for flyover substructure
- Creation of procurement scopes and pricing schedules
- Carry out subcontractor pricing evaluations and awarding contracts
- Management of subcontractors, claims, variations, disputes, program
- Carrying out of rectification works on 2 defective piers. Including hydro demo and repairing with micro concrete within the freeway median
