Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Upgrades Gas Main Installation

Installation of a 200mm dia steel gas main from Gardinia Rd to High Street. This included open cut excavations as well as hanging the main under two of the new bridges. Commissioning of the new main by means of hot tapping, decommissioning and grouting of the redundant main.

Services Provided

  • Development of SOW for procurement purposes
  • Working with USP to fine develop details required to produce contract offers
  • Developing programs for the works and coordinating this with the overall project program
  • Expediating the construction program due to a delayed start date and fixed end date
  • Adjusting the commissioning SOW with the USP to facilitate the opening of the new Doncaster Rd alignment. A staged commissioning was utilized
  • General site management
  • Progress and program tracking
