FSC was involved in the Gippsland West Coastal Protection Structures Coastal Hazard Risk Assessment, Silverleaves Coastal Processes Assessment, Silverleaves Coastal Adaptation Plan and Silverleaves Community Engagement. These projects led to FSC being commissioned by the State of Victoria Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) to develop and design interim shoreline protection options for Silverleaves Beach, with the preferred solution being a rock bag revetment. Bass Coast City Council managed the construction of the rock bag revetment and engaged FSC to provide post-construction services.
