M80 Northern Upgrade
The M80 Northern added new lanes between Sydney Road and Edgars Road, a smart freeway lane management system, and new on- and off-ramps.
As part of the ongoing M80 improvements a new Greensborough-bound lane was added to reduce congestion, a new smart freeway management system installed to provide real-time information for drivers and ramp signals to improve traffic flow on the M80 Ring Road.
Services Provided
- Provided full time planning and programming support during the execution of the project
- Completed works ahead of program and achieved all inspection KPIs
- Gained approval to reduce earthworks testing frequency, reducing costs and potential delays
- All work-lots closed-out before scheduled finish date
